Mission Briefing
MISSION: Our client, James A. Eggebeen, contacted us with the specific goal of finding Sasti. She was last seen near the home of Kalis, a known affiliate of The Brotherhood. Unfortunately that home has burned to the ground.

This novella needed to be immediately identifiable as a fantasy fiction genre book.
Versatile
This was the first of three books we were doing in this series so the central figure, Sasti, needed to be versatile and easily manipulated.
Series Logo
Instead of simply creating the text to identify the series it needed a readily identifiable symbol.
Features
Sasti has white hair and red eyes. Those special features were not readily available in stock images.
Mysterious
James initial choice for Sasti was too limiting but it did indicate to us a sense of mystery. We wanted to keep that intact.
Background
James’ blurb indicated a fiery blaze would be a good background.

Reconnaissance for this mission involved finding flames, flaming items, an ancient church, an eye to turn into the logo, and a field. Once found I worked on Sasti, added red eyes, turned her cloak purple, changed her hair to white and added white braids. After that was complete I meshed together assorted items for the background and created the logo. In all this was a fair to moderate level difficulty design.
